Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman left for China on Thursday on an official visit, a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The press release said that during the visit, Waqar-uz-Zaman will hold courtesy calls with high-ranking Chinese military and civilian officials and exchange views with them to promote bilateral cooperation related to the military. After the visit, the army chief will return to Bangladesh on August 27.
