Election Commissioner (EC) Anwarul Islam has said that the voting environment in the country is 100 percent favorable so far in the upcoming national parliamentary elections.

He said this in response to a question from journalists at the Election Building on Sunday afternoon.

Anwarul Islam said, "There is no uncertainty. The commission has not received any information about adverse circumstances regarding the election."

Regarding the registration of political parties, the Election Commissioner said that almost all the reports have been received by the commission. A final decision on this matter can be made within a week. However, in the last stage of the registration process, there will be an opportunity for the parties to object to the names. It will be finalized within this month.

Regarding the confusion over the constitution and existing laws, Anwarul Islam said, "The proposed RPO amendment has been finalized after vetting by the Law Ministry. If there is any conflict with any other law, it will be adjusted."
