Dhaka University Central Students' Union (DUCSU) elections are underway. Long lines of students were seen outside the centers even before the voting time began. Voters are participating in the elections in a spontaneous and festive atmosphere.
Voting began in the Geology Department, one of the eight election centers, about 20 minutes after the scheduled time.
At this time, the officials in charge of the center brought empty ballot boxes and showed them to the media and polling agents. They also said that the delay would be compensated later. This is the polling center for students of Kabi Sufia Kamal Hall. There are 4,443 voters here.
Meanwhile, Abidul Islam Khan and Sadiq Kayem, candidates for the positions of VP or vice president of Chhatra Dal and Chhatra Shibir, were seen visiting the polling stations.
