Dr. Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, has been removed from office. He has been reassigned as a member of the Planning Commission.
This information was given in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday (September 21).
According to a responsible source in the Ministry of Public Administration, if everything goes well, Additional Secretary of the Career Planning and Training (CPT) Division, Dr. Abu Shahin Md. Asaduzzaman, may be replaced in this position.
On August 28 last year, Dr. Md. Mokhles Ur Rahman was appointed as the Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration on a contractual basis for two years.
He is an officer of the 1982 batch (regular) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) Administration Cadre and retired from government service as Additional Secretary. He was appointed under Section 49 of the Government Service Act, 2018.
