Girls are ahead of boys in the pass rate of the 2025 SSC and equivalent examination results. The results released on Thursday showed that this year the pass rate of all boards is 68.45 percent. However, girls are ahead of boys. Their pass rate is 71.03 percent. The pass rate of boys is 65.88 percent.
The pass rate of girls is higher in all the 9 SSC General Education Boards, Madrasa Education Board Dakhil Examinations, and SSC Vocational and Dakhil (Vocational) Examinations.
The pass rate for the SSC exam in 9 general education boards is 68.04 percent. The pass rate for girls is 70.67 percent. The pass rate for boys is 65.11 percent.
The pass rate in the Madrasa Education Board's entrance exam is 68.09 percent. The pass rate for girls is 70.47 percent. The pass rate for boys is 65.83 percent.
The pass rate in the SSC Vocational and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations is 73.63 percent. The pass rate for girls is 81.62 percent. The pass rate for boys is 71.09 percent.
Meanwhile, the number of students who got GPA-5 in this year's published SSC and equivalent examinations has decreased. This year, 139,032 students got GPA-5. Last year, 182,129 students got GPA five. At noon, the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Boards of Dhaka, Rajshahi, Comilla, Jessore, Chittagong, Barisal, Sylhet, Dinajpur, Mymensingh, Bangladesh Madrasa Education Board and Bangladesh Technical Education Board simultaneously published the results.
This time too, no formalities were held around the publication of the results. However, Professor Dr. Khandokar Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Dhaka Board, spoke about the overall issue at a meeting held at the meeting room of the Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Dhaka.
Candidates can collect their results through the websites of the education boards and the websites of the concerned boards. Apart from this, the results can also be obtained through SMS on the designated short code 16222. The results will not be available in the Ministry of Education or newspapers.
The Inter-Education Board has also announced the time for re-examination of the results after the publication of the results. Applications will be accepted from July 11 to 17. The application process can be found on the websites of the education boards and through the notices issued by Teletalk Bangladesh.
The SSC and equivalent examinations for 2025 began on April 10. The total number of examinees, including regular and irregular candidates, in this year's SSC and equivalent examinations was 19 lakh 28 thousand 970.
