The Election Commission (EC) will publish the draft of the updated voter list on Sunday ahead of the 13th National Parliament election. If anyone has any errors in their information, they will have 12 days to correct them.

Officials from the National Identity Registration Division of the EC confirmed this information. This time, about 4.4 million new voters are being added.

After the draft list is published, the upazila officials will paste it at the designated place. After that, applications can be made till August 21 for inclusion of eligible persons, exclusion of names of persons who are deceased or ineligible for inclusion, transfer of voters and removal of any corrections or errors.

These applications will be settled by August 24. After completing other work, the final list will be published on August 31. Currently, there are 123.732 million voters in the country.
