European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen announced on Monday that Ukraine will receive a €3.5 billion payment in March as part of ongoing EU financial support.
Speaking at an international summit in Kiev, von der Leyen reaffirmed Europe's commitment to Ukraine's resistance against Russia, emphasizing that the war's outcome will shape Europe's future.
Moreover, the EU also announced today a new support package for Ukraine to fully integrate the country into its energy market by 2027. The new package includes funding for gas purchases, renewable energy investments, and market reforms.
