Delhi's Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) has taken a new turn in the investigation into the school blast yesterday (October 20). The police have started investigating whether Khalistani may have been involved in this incident.

Soon after the Delhi blasts, a post went viral on social media, claiming that the blasts were carried out in retaliation for an operation by Indian agents against Khalistani. The viral social media message has the 'Khalistan Zindabad' watermark. It said, 'If the cowardly agencies of India think they can silence our members by sending goons, they are living in a fool's world. They cannot even think that we are looking for them and can attack at any time.'

It is to be noted that this explosion took place near a CRPF school located in Prashant Vihar area of ​​Rohini district of Delhi at 7:50 am on October 20. Investigators believe that the explosion was done to send a 'message' to the authorities. Delhi Police has registered an FIR under the Explosives Act in this incident. The NIA has also started investigating the case. Besides, Special Cell of Delhi Police, CRPF, Forensic Science Laboratory and National Security Guard or NSG have also started investigation into this incident. CCTV footage of shops around the blast site is being examined to identify who planted the explosives. The CRPF is also collecting data from mobile towers around the school and investigating it.

Yesterday, due to this explosion, the area was covered in smoke for several minutes. A strong chemical smell also permeated the surrounding area at the time. No one was injured in the blast. However, the intensity of the blast was such that the walls of the CRPF school collapsed and several windows shattered.

Investigators claimed the explosives were placed at the scene in such a way that a 'shockwave' or vibration was created up to a distance of 10 feet. The blasting technique was used to create vibrations over large areas through 'reflective pressure'. In this, high pressure is created between solids and liquids to turn them into gases. After the explosion, the gas spread to the surrounding area very quickly. Due to this a strong vibration is felt.
