The United States has carried out strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities, President Donald Trump has said. He said the United States has successfully carried out strikes on three of Iran's nuclear facilities. These facilities include Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan. BBC reports.
According to Reuters, a US official said that US B-2 stealth bombers took part in the attack in Iran.
"We have very successfully struck three Iranian nuclear facilities—Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan. All aircraft are now out of Iranian airspace," Trump wrote on his social media outlet Truth Social.
Trump shared a post from an open-source intelligence account that said the heavily fortified Fordow nuclear facility was gone. Al Jazeera.
Trump said he will address the nation today at 10 pm local time in Washington, DC.
"This (attack on Iran's nuclear facilities) is a historic moment for the United States, Israel, and the entire world," Trump wrote on Truth Social.
