He last appeared on the big screen as a producer of the film 'Sfulinga'. Then there was a silent break. However, breaking that silence, he returned to the production canvas. The name of this drama series produced for BTV is 'Dhusar Prajapati'. There is a kind of poetry hidden in the name.

Recently, two young stars Shyamal Mawla and Aisha Khan participated in the shooting of the show at 'Nakshatrabari' in Gazipur. Working with them are veteran and experienced faces of Bengali drama - Abul Hayat, Dilara Zaman, Dolly Zahur, Mir Rabbi, Sabrina Azad, Tanushree Dutta and many others.

Shyamal Mawla, who was excited about the play, said, "Taukir Ahmed's production is something exceptional. Working with him means another new discovery of artistry.
