The nuclear-armed South Asian nation says terrorists will face the same fate as the Indian Air Force, Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif said.
Pakistani media outlet ARY News reported this information in a report on Saturday (May 17).
The media outlet reports that Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif has warned the country's terrorists that they will face the same fate as the Indian Air Force. He made the remarks while talking to reporters in Sialkot on Saturday.
He said, "The entire nation has come together after the recent conflict with India. Earlier, there was division within the nation, but now everyone is united."
The Defence Minister said that the quick and strong response of the Pakistan Army to the Indian aggression was commendable. He said, "On May 10, our brave army gave a strong reply to the enemy. At that time, our leadership was full of confidence and faith. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif led from the front."
He added that the civilian leadership has also recognized the sacrifices of the army. He said, "The Prime Minister has clearly stated that Pakistan will go to the limit to protect the motherland. The people of Pakistan stand by their armed forces. India's aggression has actually united the nation even more."
He alleged, "India is actively involved in spreading terrorism in Pakistan. They are carrying out attacks in Pakistan through their agents. Now our war is against the terrorists - and their fate will be the same as that of the Indian Air Force."
