BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman has not yet requested a travel pass to come to the country, said Foreign Affairs Advisor Md. Touhid Hossain. He gave this information in response to a question from reporters on Tuesday.
When asked about the passport of the acting chairman of the BNP, the foreign affairs advisor said, "I cannot say whether he (Tareq Rahman) has a passport or not."
Touhid Hossain said the Foreign Ministry does not have specific information about Tarique Rahman's arrival in the country.
The foreign affairs advisor said that the government is prepared to take former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia abroad. If the doctors think so, and the party decides, then it may be done accordingly.
