Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, "I have not come to bid farewell to Osman Sharif Hadi. You are in our hearts. As long as Bangladesh is in order, you will be among us."
He made these remarks while attending the funeral of Osman Sharif Hadi at the South Plaza of the National Parliament on Saturday (December 20) afternoon.
The chief advisor said, "Today, people have appeared here, people are coming like waves on the road, millions of people all over Bangladesh are waiting for this moment today, they are looking, to listen to the Hadith. Today, those who are abroad, Bangladeshis, at this moment also want to know about Hadi. Dear Osman Hadi, we have not come to say goodbye to you. Here, you are in our hearts and as long as Bangladesh exists, you will be in the hearts of all Bangladeshis."
Chief Advisor Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus said, "You have given us such a mantra that no one in Bangladesh will ever forget. This mantra will ring in our ears forever. That mantra will become the great mantra of Bangladesh and will be associated with our nation. Your mantra was, Chal Balbir, the ever-evolving mother's head, the mantra of this evolved mother's head that you have given, will remain with the child, the Bangladeshi child, from the moment he is born until he lives. Our head will never bow. You have given us that mantra. We will prove in all our works that we will walk with our heads held high in front of the world, we will not bow our heads to anyone. We will fulfill that mantra that you have given us."
