BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, is in a very critical condition and is going through a critical moment, said her personal physician, Dr. AZM Zahid Hossain, a member of the party's standing committee.

He made these remarks while giving the latest update on Khaleda Zia's health at midnight on Saturday.

Dr. Zahid said, "It cannot be said that her (Khaleda Zia) condition has improved naturally. Her condition is very complex and she is going through a critical moment."

Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital on November 23. Stating that Khaleda Zia's physical condition deteriorated significantly after admission, Dr. Zahid said that due to the continuous deterioration of her health, she was taken from the cabin to the CCU and from there to the ICU.

Dr. Zahid also said, 'Domestic and foreign doctors are treating the BNP Chairperson, and her daughter-in-law Dr. Zubaida Rahman is involved in it.'

Meanwhile, BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman went to see his mother again on Saturday night.
