The last day for candidates to submit their nomination papers for the 13th National Parliament election is today (Monday). Nominations can be collected and submitted until 5 pm today. No candidate will be able to submit their nomination papers after that time.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin announced the schedule for the 13th parliamentary elections in his address to the nation on December 11. Since the schedule was announced, 2,780 candidates have collected nomination papers as of 2:30 pm on Sunday.
The EC issued a revised notification regarding the schedule on December 18. In it, the time for filing an appeal against the decision of the Returning Officer in the selection of nomination papers was reduced by two days and the time for disposal of the appeal was increased by two days.
According to the revised schedule, the date for selection of nomination papers by the Returning Officer is from December 30 to January 4. The date for filing an appeal against the decision of the Returning Officer in the selection of nomination papers is from January 5 to January 9. The appeal will be disposed of from January 10 to January 18. The last day for withdrawal of candidacy is January 20 and the allocation of symbols is January 21.
Voting for the 13th National Parliamentary Election and Referendum will be held on Thursday, February 12, from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm without interruption through ballot papers and transparent ballot boxes.
