Muhammad Asadullah wrote, 'If you love the country, the country returns it many times over. The picture is from Karwan Bazar. It was taken long before the prayers. As far as I have heard, the waves of Manik Mia Avenue have spread to Shyamoli, Agargaon, Karwan Bazar, Dhanmondi-Kalabagan. He was a national leader; today the country stands at his funeral. We have seen twice in eleven days how glorious the lives of pro-Bangladesh politicians can be. What greater lesson can there be for all living politicians?'
Gias Uddin Mia wrote, 'The funeral prayer of Begum Khaleda Zia, the BNP Chairperson and former successful Prime Minister, the heartbeat of millions of people, is being held.'
