BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has been sworn in as Prime Minister.
Tarique Rahman took the oath of office before the President shortly after 4 pm on Tuesday (February 17).
The ministers and state ministers listed among those who have taken oath as members of parliament will take the oath today.
Earlier, at 10 am, newly elected BNP members of parliament, led by Tarique Rahman, took the oath before the Chief Election Commissioner. Then, at 12 noon, members of parliament from Jamaat and their alliance took the oath.
