Estonia has expressed keen interest to cooperate with Bangladesh in the ICT sector, especially in e-governance and cyber security.

It is said in a press release on Thursday, the newly appointed non-resident ambassador of Estonia in Bangladesh, Marge Lupp, foreign advisor. He expressed such interest during a courtesy meeting with Touhid Hossain on Thursday.

In the meeting, both sides also discussed the possibility of organizing student exchange programs in the IT sector.

The Foreign Adviser congratulated Lupp on his appointment as Ambassador of Estonia to Bangladesh and briefed him on the vision and ongoing reform initiatives adopted by the Interim Government of Bangladesh.

Both the advisers and ambassadors exchanged views on Bangladesh-Estonia relations and expressed their desire to deepen the existing bilateral cooperation.
