The chief advisor called Noor, who is undergoing treatment at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) at around 1 pm on Saturday (August 30). At that time, he assured that action would be taken after a proper investigation into last night's incident.

He said that Chief Advisor Dr. Yunus called to inquire about Nurul Haque Nur's physical condition. He called at 1 pm. At that time, Nurul Haque Nur informed the Chief Advisor about yesterday's incident in detail. The Chief Advisor assured that he will investigate the incident and take action against those involved.
On Friday (August 29) night, President of the People's Rights Council, Nurul Haque Nur, was seriously injured in an attack by army and police members during a clash between leaders and activists of the Jatiya Party and the People's Rights Council in Bijoynagar, the capital.
