Bangladesh Legal Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul and Advisor to the Ministry of Housing, Public Works and Industries Adilur Rahman Khan inspected the renovation work of the main building of International Crimes Tribunal-2.
At that time, they were accompanied by Attorney General Md. Asaduzzaman, Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal Mohammad Tajul Islam, Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim and officials at various levels.
The trial of the case of crimes against humanity committed during the July-August movement is going on in full swing. In the meantime, formal charges have been framed in several cases and the taking of testimony has begun. The taking of testimony in the case of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is also in its final stages.
These activities are ongoing in Tribunal-1 and 2. However, as the renovation of the main building is not completed, the trial of Tribunal-2 is currently going on in a tin shed.
