The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) has announced the names of potential candidates for 237 parliamentary constituencies ahead of the 13th national parliamentary election. After the BNP's announcement on Monday (November 3) afternoon, it was learned that National Citizens Party (NCP) convener Nahid Islam will contest from Dhaka-11 constituency and Nasiruddin Patwari from Dhaka-18 constituency.
An NCP source said that Sarjis Alam will contest from Panchagarh-1 and Sarwar Tushar from Narsingdi-2. Although the source did not want to be named, he said that Nahid Islam has already announced that he will contest from Dhaka-11. It is learnt that Tasnim Zara will contest from Dhaka-9.
On the other hand, Abdul Hannan Masud will contest the election from Noakhali-6, Sultan Muhammad Zakaria from Noakhali-2, Hasnat Abdullah from Comilla-4, and Akhtar Hossain from Rangpur-4.
