Miscreants set fire to an Alam Asia Paribahan bus in Fulbaria, Mymensingh. Driver Julhas Mia (35) died after being burnt to death.
The incident took place in the Bhalukjan area of the upazila at around 3:15 am on Monday. The deceased was identified as Julhas Uddin, son of Saju Mia, a resident of Kaiarchala village in the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulbaria Police Station Roknuzzaman said that miscreants set fire to a bus named Alam Asia Paribahan late at night. The bus was burnt down. The driver, Julhas Mia, who was in the bus at the time, was burnt to death on the spot. The body has already been recovered. A police operation is underway to arrest those involved in the incident.
