Security has been beefed up in and around the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) ahead of the verdict in the case of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three others for crimes against humanity. Police, RAB, BGB and army members have been deployed in front of the tribunal.
Such a scene was seen in front of the tribunal on Monday (November 17) morning.
On the ground, it can be seen that security forces have been deployed on all sides of the Supreme Court. The army can be seen taking up positions in front of the shrine gate. And security of law enforcement agencies, including the police and RAB, has been strengthened in front of and inside the International Crimes Tribunal.
The verdict in the case of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three others accused of crimes against humanity for the July 24 genocide will be announced today. The entire world will be able to watch this historic verdict live. At the same time, the trial will be shown on big screens at various locations in Dhaka by the Ministry of Culture.
