Law Advisor Dr. Asif Nazrul said that a letter will be written to India again to bring back Sheikh Hasina, who was sentenced to death for crimes against humanity committed during the July uprising.
He gave this information to reporters in response to the verdict at the Secretariat on Monday (November 17).
The advisor said, "We will write to India again to extradite Sheikh Hasina. If India continues to shelter this mass murderer, then India must understand that this is an act of hostility and a reprehensible act against Bangladesh and the people of Bangladesh."
He said, "A trial took place today. God willing, the trial will continue at full speed as long as we are here."
He congratulated those involved for this trial.
The advisor said, "We hope that whichever government is elected in the future, they will not shy away from the important responsibility of this trial under any circumstances."
