Chief Adviser's Deputy Press Secretary Apoorba Jahangir said this in response to journalists' questions at a press briefing held at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Sunday (November 25).
The question of the journalists was that the Election Commission has been formed. Now people are interested to know when the election can be held.
In response to this question, Deputy Press Secretary of the Chief Adviser Apoorba Jahangir said that no date for the election has been given so far by the Chief Adviser or his office. The date of election will be announced by him and given on his behalf. The rest of those who said, it is their own opinion.
In response to another question, Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, another deputy press secretary of the chief adviser, said that everyone can give his opinion. But the government has constituted the Election Commission in full compliance with the law.
