About 400 Bangladeshis are staying in Tehran, Iran. Of these, about 100 Bangladeshis have contacted the Bangladesh Embassy in Tehran. At the same time, work is underway to transfer 40 embassy staff, including diplomats, to a safe place.
Acting Foreign Secretary Ruhul Alam Siddiqui made this disclosure at a press conference organized at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday (June 17) on the Iran-Israel war situation and the security of Bangladeshis abroad.
