Limited classes are being resumed at Milestone School and College, which was affected by the Uttara plane crash, from July 27 (Sunday). Only classes for grades 9 to 12 will begin on that day. Later, activities for other classes will be resumed in a phased manner.
Shah Bulbul, public relations officer of Milestone School and College, confirmed this information on Wednesday (July 23) night. He said, "The institution has suffered a big setback. We have decided to gradually resume educational activities to provide mental comfort to the students and overcome the academic loss."
Earlier, on Monday (July 21) at 1:06 pm, a Bangladesh Air Force training aircraft crashed into a building of Milestone School and College in the capital's Uttara area of Diabari. It immediately caught fire. Many casualties were also reported in this tragic incident. As a result, all types of educational activities were closed on the college premises from the next day. Panic spread among the students present on the campus at the time of the accident. However, the institution has decided to gradually reopen after discussing with the administration and guardians.
