The Meteorological Department has said that rain or thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds are likely in 7 regions of the country. In addition, river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
This information was given in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports from 9 am to 6 pm on Wednesday.
It said that temporary gusty or squally winds of 45-60 kilometers per hour are likely to occur over Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Noakhali, Comilla, Chittagong and Cox's Bazar regions from the south or southwest. River ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.
