Police have recovered the bodies of two people from inside a private car parked in the parking lot of Dr. Sirajul Islam Medical College Hospital in the capital's Mouchak area.
Their bodies were recovered this Monday (August 11) afternoon.
Police said both victims were men, but their names were not immediately known. They were estimated to be 35-40 years old.
Earlier, at around 12 noon, the head security guard of the medical college found the bodies of the two inside the car. At first, he thought they were asleep. However, after calling out, there was no response, so he informed the Ramna police station. Based on the information given by the hospital authorities, the police recovered the bodies of the two from the scene.
Police say the white private car entered the hospital's basement parking lot early Sunday morning and has remained there ever since.
Meanwhile, the police station police, along with the police's Criminal Investigation Department (CID) Crime Unit, have collected various evidence from the scene.
The car owner claims that the names of the two dead people recovered from the car are Nizam and Raihan.
