The three nuclear facilities in Iran that the US is threatening to attack do not contain any radioactive material, Al Jazeera reports.
The country's state news agency IRNA reported this information, citing an official from Iran's state broadcasting agency.
The official's comments suggest that Iranian authorities may have removed enriched uranium or radioactive material from those facilities before the bombing.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said that restrictions imposed on the public across the country have been tightened for military and security reasons.
It is believed that this may be a step taken in the context of fears of a retaliation from Iran.
