At least 21 Palestinians, including children, have been killed in Israeli airstrikes in the besieged Gaza Strip, Al Jazeera reported, as they were waiting for aid near a distribution center run by the US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation in the early hours of Wednesday.
Earlier on Tuesday, at least 86 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks, 56 of whom were killed while collecting aid.
At least 27 people were killed and 140 others injured when Israeli forces opened fire on a distribution center of the US-run Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) on Salah al-Din Road, south of Wadi Gaza, as they were trying to collect aid in the southern Gaza Strip.
In addition, Israeli soldiers shot and killed several Palestinians while they were collecting relief supplies on the Altina Road in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
The Gaza Health Ministry said that at least 516 Palestinians have been killed and 3,799 injured in Israeli shelling and shelling while trying to receive aid in the past month.
In addition, more than 56,000 Palestinians have been killed since the military operation in Gaza began in October 2023.
Israel has been blocking aid from entering Gaza since March 2, before the ceasefire expired, creating a famine situation in the besieged enclave.
