Israel is preparing a major attack in response to Iran's missile attack this month. A government official of the country, who did not want to be named, gave this information in a statement to Israel's state-owned TV channel Kan 11 on Monday (October 21).

In the statement, the official said, Israel is preparing a major attack on Iran. In addition, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are being strengthened to prevent any possible attack by Iran.

However, he did not give any details about where exactly Israel can strike in Iran. However, according to various reports published in the Israeli media, the IDF may attack Iran's oil fields or nuclear facilities.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the elite wing of the Iranian army, fired at least 180 ballistic missiles at Israel during the night of October 1. 2 days after the attack on October 3, Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian said at a press conference in Qatar that if Israel does not stop military operations in Gaza and Lebanon, such attacks will continue.

Recently, hostility between Tehran and Tel Aviv has reached a fever pitch following the Gaza war and Israel's attacks on Lebanon. Iran has been providing regular financial and military support to various armed groups in the Middle East including Hezbollah, Hamas, Houthi, Palestinian Islamic Jihad for the past four decades. The main and only goal of these groups is to eliminate Israel.
