The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced the full itinerary for Ireland’s tour of Bangladesh, scheduled to take place in November and December 2025. The tour will consist of a two-match Test series followed by three Twenty20 Internationals.
Ireland are set to arrive in Bangladesh on Thursday, 6 November. They will begin their preparations with rest and practice sessions until 10 November. The first Test will begin on Tuesday, 11 November at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium (SICS), with play scheduled from 10:00 to 17:00 each day. The match will run through Saturday, 15 November.
Following a travel day on 16 November and two days of practice, the second Test will start on Wednesday, 19 November at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka, also scheduled from 10:00 to 17:00 daily.
This marks the first full Test series between Bangladesh and Ireland. The sides have only met once previously in the longest format, in April 2023, when Bangladesh secured a seven-wicket win in Dhaka.
After the Tests, the tour will move to Chattogram for a three-match T20I series at the Bir Shrestha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Motiur Rahman Cricket Stadium (BSSFLMRCS). The first T20I will take place on Thursday, 27 November from 18:00 to 21:10. The second T20I is scheduled for Saturday, 29 November at the same time, with the third and final match to be played on Tuesday, 2 December.
