Bangladesh has reached the final of the U-19 Asia Cup by crushing Pakistan. In the first semi-final of the tournament, Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 7 wickets. India defeated Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in the second semi-final and reached the final. Bangladesh will face India in the title fight at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on December 8.

Bangladesh won the U-19 Asia Cup title for the first time in 2023 by defeating the United Arab Emirates by 195 runs. This time, Azizul Hakim Tamim's team will fight to retain the title against India.

Bangladesh's bowlers did half the job at the beginning of the match at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Friday. Two pacers Iqbal Hossain Emon and Maruf Mridha took a total of 6 wickets in Pakistan's fiery bowling.

In the end, Pakistan was bowled out for just 116 runs in 37 overs. In reply, Bangladesh batted in 22.1 overs and lost 3 wickets to secure a resounding victory.

Farhan Yousuf scored the highest score for Pakistan with 32 runs off 32 balls. Mohammad Riazullah scored 28 runs off 65 balls. Captain Saad Baig scored 18 runs off 41 balls. Harun Arshad scored 10 runs off 30 balls. The rest were stuck in single digits.

In reply, Bangladesh lost openers Kalam Siddiqui (0 for 14 balls) and Jawad Abrar (17 for 25 balls) for 28 runs. The young tigers got the taste of victory with a 57-run partnership between Azizul Hakim and Shihab James for the third wicket. When Shihab James was dismissed for 26 runs off 36 balls, Azizul Hakim won the match with Rizan Hossain.

Captain Azizul Hakim played an impeccable innings of 61 runs off 42 balls. Rizan remained unbeaten on 5 runs with him.
