On Thursday, September 25, Janata Bank PLC’s Chittagong Divisional Semi-Annual Business Branch Manager Conference was held at a local hotel. Chairman of the bank, Muh. Fazlur Rahman, was present as the chief guest at the conference. Managing Director of the bank, Md. Mujibur Rahman and Deputy Managing Director, Md. Golam Mortuza were present as special guests. The conference, held under the chairmanship of General Manager-in-charge of the Chittagong Divisional Office, Mohiuddin Mohammad Aurangzeb, was attended by concerned executives and branch managers under the divisional office. Before the conference, Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman, inaugurated a workshop on financial literacy at Janata Bank Regional Staff College-Chittagong.
At the conference, Chairman of the bank, Muh. Fazlur Rahman, gave instructions to distribute loans to good customers by checking whether the customer has the mentality to repay the loan before giving the loan. In addition, the bank's Managing Director, Md. Mujibur Rahman, advised investing the collected deposits in the area.
