Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has commented that those who are criminals among the police must be brought to justice. He said that they must work with the spirit of the 1924 uprising.
He made this statement while joining a virtual exchange of views with the field administration from the Chief Advisor's office on Monday (December 30) morning. Commissioners and deputy commissioners of all divisions, including Dhaka, participated in the exchange of views from their respective offices.
Dr. Muhammad Yunus directed the field administration to play an active role in making the objectives and activities of the interim government successful. He said that the field-level administration is the real government.
The chief advisor said that the interim government is working to ensure the rights of everyone. Therefore, those concerned must be focused on completing various projects at the field level within the stipulated time.
The chief advisor mentioned in the meeting that those involved in various crimes by the police will definitely be brought to justice. He also directed to distribute books among students in a disciplined manner at the beginning of the new academic year.
