Light to moderate rain is expected in different districts of Bangladesh at different times of the day today due to the cloud of cyclone grains. Especially the districts of Chittagong, Barisal, Khulna, Dhaka and Rajshahi division are expected to rain between morning and evening. She said, there is a strong possibility of creating a low pressure from the cyclonic system in the Bay of Bengal. There is a fear that it may turn into a cyclone. According to India Meteorological Department and Alipore Meteorological Department forecasts, it will intensify into a cyclonic storm and hit anywhere in Puri and Sagardeep between Thursday night (October 24) and Friday morning (October 25).

At that time the wind speed can be 100 to 110 km per hour. But in some places gusty winds can blow at a speed of 120 km per hour. North 24 Parganas, South 24 Parganas and East Medinipur districts are likely to be affected the most by this cyclone. Besides, it may affect neighboring districts like Kolkata, Howrah, Hooghly, Bankura, West Midnapore and Jhargram.

All those who have already gone out to sea for fishing have been asked to return quickly. People in coastal areas are being evacuated to safe places. Mikeing is going on in coastal areas.

Eastern Railway is prepared to face the possible consequences of Cyclone Dana. As a preparation for the possible impact of this cyclone in West Bengal, all departments of the Eastern Railway have taken several early warning measures. South Eastern Railway has decided to cancel 135 trains from October 23 to 25.

The International Airport of Kolkata is ready to take any measures to avoid any inconvenience or danger due to cyclone 'Dana'.
