Around 160 local trains of Sealdah Division of Eastern Railway have been canceled due to Cyclone Dana. Mainly Sealdah South Branch has been affected the most. Railway authorities have decided to cancel this train in the interest of safety. On 24th October 2024 Train services on Sealdah South Branch will remain suspended from 8 pm to 25 October till 10 am.

According to railway sources, the train journey from Sealdah South Branch will be suspended from 8 pm on October 24 till 10 am the next day. Similarly, the journey of the Sealdah southbound train has been suspended from 7 pm on October 24 to 9 am on October 25. Also, train services on Sealdah-Barasat-Hasnabad branch will remain canceled from 8 pm on October 24 to 10 am on October 25.
